CEBRA works

Across full-bleed pages, the clothbound image book unfolds in expansive spreads and thoughtful pairings, presenting a series of architectural glimpses. Divided into three parts – Domestic, Occupational, and Public – it explores significant spaces in various scales and settings. Whether in building design, urban development, landscape, or interior, the visual compilation offers a rounded, aesthetic insight into CEBRA’s artistic approach to architecture.
The book is conceived as a fully coherent visual experience, where every page contributes to a consistent aesthetic language. By working exclusively with photography, the publication establishes a clear expression across projects, allowing the architecture to be experienced without the layering of drawings, diagrams, or technical narratives.
The sequence of images, their composition, and their relationships across spreads are carefully considered, creating a sense of continuity throughout the book while allowing each project to retain its own character.
CEBRA works is intended to speak to both professional and non-professional audiences. Without relying on specialised terminology or explanatory texts, the book invites a broader readership, offering an experience comparable to moving through the buildings themselves. For professionals, the images reveal spatial, material, and architectural qualities; for others, they provide an immediate and accessible entry point into the work.
The format reinforces this intention. With its compact, tactile quality, the book balances the presence of a traditional coffee table publication with the intimacy of a personal object – one that can be carried, revisited, and engaged with over time.
CEBRA works – ideal as an inspiring coffee table book – is published by CEBRA and can be acquired through cebra@cebra.dk.
